Under the patronage of the Union of Venitian Artisans, the Consortium that promotes Murano glass was established in 1985, as the result of an initiative by a group of artisans producing Murano artistic glass. It currently represents around fifty craft and industrial companies located in Murano and Venice.<\/h6>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The District priorities for the next four years mean to develop the trajectories of the Creative Industries specialisation area, such as:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Innovation and digitalisation in marketing processes;<\/p>\n

\u2022 Digitisation of circular economy processes;<\/p>\n

\u2022 Innovative materials for the creative industry;<\/p>\n

\u2022 Business models and value-added services;<\/p>\n

\u2022 Technologies for the design and prototyping of creative products for fashion and interior design;<\/p>\n

\u2022 Technologies and virtual reality for artistic and cultural heritage.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The District intends also to implement the following international projects:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Participation in the trade fair event I Saloni di Milano;<\/p>\n

\u2022 Participation in the Maison et Objet trade fair in Paris;<\/p>\n

\u2022 Organisation of workshops with sector professionals (architects, designers, etc.).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
